The psychiatrists and psychologists are committed to cater for the mental health needs of the Gold Coast and beyond.

The psychiatrists and psychologists see over 150 new referrals every month and just in last year we have received over 3500 new referrals.

The psychiatrists and the psychologists at the clinic have been working with over 5400 patients since its inception helping them towards their recovery.

Cancellation Policy

We have a strict cancellation policy and by booking an appointment you are agreeing to this policy.  If you do not attend your booked appointment, it will be recorded as a DNA (Did Not Attend) and full fees will apply.

If reception is not notified of an appointment that needs to be cancelled or rescheduled by 1pm the day before your scheduled appointment, it will be classed as a late cancellation and a late fee will be applicable (fees vary from Doctor to Doctor).

For both DNA or Late Cancellation appointments, a fee will be charged, and you will not be able to book another appointment until the fee is paid.

Missed/late cancelled appointments will be marked as a ‘Did Not Attend’ appointment and will stay on your file until it is cleared.

Dr Sandeep Chand has been in the field of psychiatry since year 2000. After finishing his MBBS from India at Christian Medical College, Vellore he started his journey in the field of psychiatry in United Kingdom

Dr Samit Roy

Consultant Psychiatrist MBBS, MDPsych, FRANZCP

Dr Samit Roy completed his MBBS and PG training (MD) in Psychiatry in India. He completed his Fellowship (FRANZCP) since arriving here, and has worked in various Public Mental Health Services (NSW and QLD).

Dr Hany Farag Ghabrash

Adult and Youth Consultant Psychiatrist MBBCh, FRANZCP, CABMSPsych, ACLP(M)

Dr Hany F. Ghabrash is a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists, with extensive experience in Youth and Adult Mental Health in Australia and overseas. Dr Ghabrash has published few papers on physical side effects of psychotropic medications and the cultural impact of psychiatry. Has special interest in education and has most recently worked as a Clinical Lecturer, Melbourne Medical School, Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences.

Dr Paranee Siva completed his training in the UK and has undertaken additional training in Australia. 
He specializes in Child Adolescent and Family Psychiatry. 
He has worked on the Gold Coast since 2005.

Dr Rai is a highly experienced Consultant specialising in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr Rai finds great fulfilment in working with young people. His strengths lie in building rapport with young people and their families and collaborating with other professionals involved in their care. Dr Rai's private practice serves areas of the Gold Coast and Brisbane through Helix Health, as well as offering telehealth appointments to other areas. ​

Dr Ashok Chithu Sadanandam

Consultant Psychiatrist FRANZCP, FRCPsych (UK), CCT (General/IDD Psychiatry), MBBS

Dr Sadanandam is a UK-trained psychiatrist, with dual fellowships from the Royal Australian & New Zealand College and the Royal College of Psychiatrists, UK.
He has held pivotal roles within the NHS and private sector in the UK, with over two decades of work practice and dual accreditation in general adult and developmental psychiatry. He specializes in psychosis, mood/anxiety disorders, adult ADHD, PTSD, autism and intellectual disability-related co-morbidities..

Dr Arash Amini

Dr Amini completed his medical and psychiatry training in Iran. He worked as a consultant psychiatrist overseas from 2000 to 2008 before moving to Australia. He has been practicing in the field of psychiatry in South Australia and Queensland since 2008. He has a wide range of experience in various domains of adult psychiatry.

Dr Mahsa Davari

Consultant Psychiatrist MD, FRANZCP

In addition to general psychiatry, Dr Davari has special interests in treating ADHD, Anxiety, Mood Disorders, Cultural Adjustments, Depression, OCD and Women’s Mental Health.

Dr Lisa Keulder

Consultant Psychiatrist MBChB, DCH, MRCPsych, FRANZCP

Dr Keulder obtained her primary medical degree (MBChB) in 1995 in South Africa. She started her medical career in England and Ireland and initially pursued Paediatrics, then changed to Psychiatry.

Dr Sujatha Rao

Consultant Psychiatrist MBBS, MRCPsych and CCT (UK), FRANZCP

Dr Sujatha Rao completed her specialist psychiatric training in the United Kingdom, prior to embarking on her career in Singapore in 2007. She relocated to Australia in 2018 and subsequently attained her Fellowship.

Dr Aprilynn Reyes

Consultant Psychiatrist MD, FRANZCP

Dr Aprilynn Reyes is a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. Obtaining her Doctor of Medicine in the Philippines and completing her Psychiatry training on the Gold Coast in 2018. She has an interest in the management of treatment resistant mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychosis and neuropsychiatric disorders.

Olaf Handrick

Clinical Psychologist Registered Psychologist AHPRA with Clinical Endorsement

Olaf trained in Germany and the UK to Masters Level in Clinical and Forensic Psychology. Between 1995 and 2005 he worked for the NHS in different career grades (Clinical Psychologist, Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist). During this time he was a member of the BPS and BABCP/UKCP.

Jappan Sawhney

Clinical Psychologist B. BehSc (Psych), BehSc (Psych Honours), MPsych (Clinical)

Jappan is registered with Psychology Board of Australia, and endorsed in the area of Clinical Psychology. She completed her education and training in Queensland. She has experience working in public mental health specialist services.

Tim McIntyre

Clinical Psychologist BA, PstDip Psych, M.Cliic Psych

Tim has an interest in providing treatment to adolescents and adults presenting with Complex Trauma, Post Traumatic Stress, Personality Disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Behavioral Problems. Tim also has interest in providing treatment to persons who present with Anxiety and Depressive Disorders. Tim is trained in a variety of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical.

Emily is a registered psychologist with a special interest in anxiety and panic disorders, mood disorders, interpersonal difficulties, adjustment disorders and trauma for adults and teenagers.

Kellie Bradbury

BEd, Med(Guid&Coun), BPsych, A/MAPS

Kellie is a registered psychologist with a special interest in the assessment and treatment of child, adolescent and young adult mental health conditions. Kellie has extensive experience in providing evidence-based treatment to all consumers with a wide range of psychological disorders. Kellie is also a registered and experienced teacher.

Suzi Orschulok

Suzi is a Forensic Psychologist and has extensive experience in working with a range of adult psychological problems including substance misuse and dependence, offending behaviour, anxiety disorders, depression, trauma (PTSD), and personality disorders.
